Generally speaking there is one pair of drive belts per robotic unit. However there are exceptions. One exception would be on the "double" styled units such as the Ultramax (old style) and on some remote control units such as the Aquabot T4-RC. Refer to parts schematics whenever possible. And generally speaking one pair of drive belts are located on one side of the unit as opposed to one drive belt on one side and one drive belt on the other. Another way to check is to lift or gently move to the side the drive tracks to view the drive belt pair underneath.
